Does Wine Consumption Cause Damage To Gall Bladder?

is there a correlation between consumption of wine and damage to gall bladder. I have a history of IBS but for several months I have had extreme constipation, bloating and/or bowel movements all day long. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy end of this month, but the doctor said could be something in the gall bladder.

Dear- thanks for using our service. Alcohol can give liver and other organs damage. The doctor might think that there is a gallbladder problem due to your symptoms of bloating and increased bowel movement. It is part of the complete evaluation to have a gallbladder ultrasound to eliminate the possibility of "lazy gallbladder emptying",gallstones or any other lesion. It is important to have a colonoscopy due to your increased intestinal movement and constipation. I advise you to decrease the alcohol intake and get a healthy diet.
I hope that my advise has been helpful
