Does Withdrawal Of Oxycodone Cause Diarrhea?

My pain doctor has been given me oxcycodone 30mg 1 tablet every 6 six hours, I have been on oxcycodone for quite some time now, and every time I run out of medication I get sever dhierea none stop 24 hours around the clock, it s been at least two weeks now and there is no signs of it letting up, I feel very week. The only thing that has been able to stop the dhierea is when I take the oxcycodone, I have a call into my family doctor, and I m suppose to see a new pain doctor on the 24th of this month, but I m not sure I can hold out.

Hello,

Yes, withdrawal of Hydrocodone may cause diarrhea, palpitations, sweating or insomnia etc. Slow withdrawal of the drug to be considered. Use cap.Imodium if necessary for loose stools. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly. Take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
