Done Knee Arthroscopy. Have Lower Back Pain, Difficulty Walking. Taken Medrol. Taking Mestinon For Myasthenia Gravis
I had a left knee arthroscopy end of May . I have completed 12 weeks of pt and feeling ok with the knee. Now my rt lower back has been hurting since the surg .this causes me to walk really awkwardly . I felt 80 percent better with a Medrol dose pack ( I took it as a burst dose ). Now the pain in the back is re occurring.... I also have myasthenia gravis and take mestinon and Cellcept. Could this be Mg related? I have a f/ u with my ortho tomorrow. Thank u
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain in the lower back that you are having now is likely to be related to a muscle spasm due to the wrong body posture caused by an injured knee. Oral muscle relaxants and hot fomentation will be helpful. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
