Today I had a mamo, ultrasound for hard growing lump under left arm pit. They couldn t tell what it was, they never saw anything like this. they thought because of its size and how hard and painful it was it might be a forien object left in bodt from resent pacemaker surgery, did xrays, it is not. Doctors and radiologists said they were stummed, never seen this, but it is def something. what can it be , can it be lymph cancer bone cancer or breast cancer even though mamo showed nothing in breast. they are trying to figure out what to do! in the mean time I need answers!
Ultrasound findings may be not clear,it happens in many cases. Don't worry about this. There may be various causes of swelling. You need proper clinical examination and further investigations. Further investigation are routine hemogram,FNAC of lesion, CT Scan and MRI can be done if needed. Lymph cancer is associated with many findings. It can be excluded during investigations. Get well soon.
