Drank Lysol, Vomited Out. What Should Be Done To Get Motion?
Hi gud morning , My daughter 21 years old ,drank 50 to 70 ml of lysol on saturday night her roommate offered first by giving her salt water and she vomits out everything including the food she taken by noon. apart from first aid she didnt consult any doctor . Today morning only i came to know about the problem . i asked her about health condition she says i am ok but i feel of loose motion but motion not coming ....... what should i ask her to do now will she be ok ?
Drinking lysol is definitely dangerous as it contains certain chemicals not suitable for our body. Friend did the right thing by giving her salt water to induce vomiting. Also it is good sign that she vomitted maximum out and no problem after 12 hours. But lay people should not attempt to keep the victim away from medical help. After first aid, victim should have been presented in front of a medical professional. Even now, that option is safe. Nutralising elements need to be given and the victim should be under careful observationn for atleast 24 hours. Do the needful. Good luck.
