Ears And Throat Hurt; Went To Urgent Care Clinic On

Ears and throat hurt; went to Urgent Care clinic on Sun. (yesterday), Doc said both ears infected. Got amoxicillan. Today is worse. Worse problem is throat. Swallowing (throughout day and night, besides when eating) causes extreme pain. Nothing seems to help. I am 81, generally in good health.
PS WAs planning to leave for Iceland in 3 days, my first vacation in over 5 years. There is no way I feel well enough and have two days to get better. Need miracle.
