Echocardiogram Showed Aortic Valve Leaking, Two Leaflets, Murmur. Due For Colonoscopy. Any Risk Of Colonoscopy Now?

I just had an echocardiogram because I was found to have murmur and have been fatigued for a few months. I was told I have aortic valve leaking, I have two leaflets. My primary MD told me to come back in a year and have echo redone. Prior to echo I had scheduled a colonoscopy and was wondering if there are any risks of having the colonoscopy done now that I know I have the aortic valve leak.

I have gone through your problem but detail of Echo report is not given to judge regarding severity of leakage (murmur) .
If your symptoms are not severe and you are able to manage day to day routin work without any problem I think Colonoscopy will not pose any health risk as this is mostly an outpatient procedure.
But you need to share the echocardiogram report to get more specific reply.
with best wishes
