Elbow Joint Pain After Blood Donation. Is This Normal?

So, I got blood drawn about two weeks ago for a donation. The donation didn t go well, and they cut it off early because bubbles popped up in the tube. (The phlebotomist wouldn t stop wiggling the needle because the flow was slow but whatever.) Two weeks later, today I felt a sharp pain in the elbow joint that I got the blood drawn from. Is this normal or do I need to go see a doctor?

Hi, Jay,
Thanks for query,
It seems that you might have developed Thrombophlebitis.
Consult your doctor and get it diagnosed and I would suggest to go for antibiotic medicine.
Meanwhile you can apply Thrombophob cream on the part.
Ok and bye.
