Endoscopy Done For Gastric Problems. Having On And Off Chest Pain. What Is Causing This?
dear Dr, I am 52 years old , just for the past few days i have on off chest pain in my left and at the back,it happened some 7 years back also, did endoscopic for gastric problems last time then after medication it was alright, now i have this problem again, did my ECG eight months back, please advise me, why this happening?thanks

it may be gastric problem or ischemic heart disease.
but the pain of IHD is usually felt at the retrosternal area & may radiate to left upper limb,neck,back.
associated risk factors may present like HTN,DM,hyperlipidemia or smoking.
so,at first an ecg should be done,if it is normal then an endoscopy may be done.
