Episode Of Sharp, Deep Pain In The Inner Thigh Similar To A Cramp Leaving A Painful Bruise. What Could It Be?

While simply standing a very deep and sharp pain was felt in my inner thigh. The pain was localized, sort of like a long needle was forcibly plunged into my leg and then removed. The pain took awhile to subside, and in some forms reminded me of a leg cramp that has to work its self out. The only problem is now I am left with a deep painful bruise where the pain occurred, and I never bruise when I do get leg cramps (which is often)

if there is a bruise after pain in the thigh, it needs evaluation.
how big is it?
are you on any blood thinners?
is there swelling below / leg edema/swelling?
is it growing?
did you notice something more abnormal?
pl. revert with more details and may be able to help you.
else pl. see your doc in person and get ckecked.
