Experiencing Chest Pain After Having Tonsils,adenoids & Sinus Precedure

Hello, I just had my tonsils & adenoids out as well as a sinus procedure On the 2nd of this month. I just got upped to a stronger pain med because the pain was so bad but all day I have felt so irritable for no reason & then I fell asleep but woke up one hour later in a panic. I felt like I couldn t breathe & like someone was stepping on my chest -also felt not like myself. Then I went into a full on panic attack & couldn t stop freaking out for no reason. Out of sleep. Felt like I was dying. & i felt out of my mind. Would this be a reaction to the increase in the pain meds? I went from a liquid vikoden to a pain med like perkisit they said.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of having chest pain, panic attack, out of mind feeling and so on after a procedure on the tonsils adenoids and sinuses.
Definitely one of the reasons is change over to another pain medicines, yes they can cause cause such a problem.
But it is imperative to get a clinical evaluation and examination and investigations.
We have to rule out the infection and septicemia as a cause and most important to rule out any cardiac problem as you have the feeling of someone stepping on your chest.
The treatment will depend upon the clinical examination and investigations.
Get the medicines with knowledge as in past , continue the ones that suit you.
