Experiencing Frequent Urination. Urine Stick Test Showed Positive For Leukocytes And Negative For Nitrates. Suggest?
I have been experiencing an urge to urinate, frequent urination, and a burning/inflamed feeling in my urinary tract for several days. A home urine stick test showed positive for leukocytes and negative for nitrates. I saw my doctor a couple of days ago; she did a swab that showed yeast and gave me a prescription.
I have had numerous yeast infections in the past, and none of them ever caused the symptoms that I am now experiencing - the frequent urinating and constant internal burning feeling. And I don't have any of the more typical symptoms of a yeast infection.
I am starting to worry that there is some kind of kidney condition causing this problem. Any insight into what this might be?

it appears from your symptoms and lab tests your suffering from urinary tract infections. urinary tract infections are common in females.
if there is any infection in kidney you will have high grade fever with chills and rigors, nausea , and very ill feeling .
dont worry about it unless you have above mentioned symptoms .
