Experiencing Irregular Bleeding And Menstrual Cramps After Taking Postinor Post Sex. What Is The Reason?

I had sex On November 7 and took Postinor 1 on November 8. After 5 days (November 13) I started bleeding and it lasted for about 3 days. I was supposed to get my period on the 28th. It didnt come that time but then I started bleeding on December 1. It's not heavy at all and I'm not experiencing menstrual cramps. What does that mean? Is that period and is it lighter because I alreay had light period 2 weeks before? Help.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The first bleeding was most probably due to the postinor, and the second bleeding is most probably your period. It will be light, but there is nothing to worry about as your menstrual cycle should return to normal by your next cycle.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
