Experiencing Loos Of Breath After Taking Powder Potassium. Stomach Feels Hard And Pains. Suggest
After I take my Powder Potassium My stomach gets hard and I feel like I am in a bear hug unable to breath freely...each time I take a dose (20mgx2 x4 times day) the pain and breathing gets worse......I am told I have to take it but my fear is it will effect my breathing to the point I can't breath...I live alone and would be unable to get help.

I am really sorry to hear about your problem
You are taking potassium powder , for urine infection , low potassium or for any cause , causing you to have pain with breathing problems
Potassium is known to cause this as you dont know the level of your potassium , while taking more and more potassium
Potassium is stomach erosive , meaning the pain you are having
Potassium absorbs faster from the stomach and hence cause sudden high potassium level in your body which causes muscle paralysis such as respiratory muscles , causing difficulty in breathing , with heart rhythm disturbance , and body requires few minutes to adjust the extra potassium
I would recommend to stop taking potassium , and consult your physician for alternative , need more of your history , to recommend any medicine
