Experiencing Pain & Bruise On The Left Leg Due To Injury

I fell two months ago and hit the backside of my left leg on the edge of the stairs, I had a bad bruise. The doctor had me have x-rays and nothing is factored. My leg still is very tight and hurts. I do yoga and that has helped it feel better but it is so painful!

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

Since the muscle was injured there will be microtrauma to the muscle fibers which must have not got healed.

As you are doing yoga it may include more of the stretching exercises.

I would recommend to continue your yoga but be little firm over your body and muscles to work on.

As time passes the healing will go on and normalcy will be attained.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
