Experiencing Pain From Rectum Through Scrotum After TURP. Should We Call A Urologist?

my husband had a TURP procedure done roughly 3 mo. ago - he is experiencing pain from his rectum through his scrotum - should we call a urologist in the morning. His doctor just recently moved out of state. His doctor felt everything looked good at his 1 month post-op.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Your husband had T.U.R.P.(trans urethral resection of prostrate)3 months back. now he is having pain from rectum through scrotum.
It might be due to the infection, or adhesion of the tissues.
So i advise you to consult an urologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, ornidazole, and anti inflammatory drug.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
