HI
Thank for asking to HCM
You have two queries, and I can really understand your concern, first I will advise you for GERD the proton pump inhibitor is the only possible treatment for this and omeprazole is the drug of choice 40 mg just single dose at evening time for six week, now for mitral prolapse there is no medicine which could repair the mitral prolapse only mitral valve replacement is the way, but that prolapse will not affect the over all your health, hope this will help you in making decision have nice day.
