Eyes Sticking To Eyeball, Dark Circles Under Eyes, Puffiness. Hormonal Changes Or Thyroid?
My eyes stick to eyeball when I wake up, just started 4 days ago, now also have very dark circles under my eyes and they are puffy. Eyes feel different now since this started. Im 62, female, always been healthy, no problems with menopause . Read online about hormonal changes, dehydration or thyroid??? Would appreciate more information, thank you.
The reasons for sticky eyeballs, dark circles and puffiness can be many - including hormonal changes, strain etc. Before you start any further investigations/treatments I would request you to try the following simple/natural remedies:
* Avoid excess strain to eyes: Watching TV/Monitor for a long time, direct contact with bright light or sun, dusty or smoky atmosphere etc.
* In the evening/night lie down in a room without bright light, take two cotton swabs, dip them in rose water and keep them over your eyes. Repeat the process for about 15-20 minutes for a week or two and see the changes.
If the problem still persists, consult an opthalmologist.
Hope it helps.
Regards
