Fatigue, Lighter Flow During Periods With Brown, Black, Bits Of Pink Fleshy Chunks. On IUD. Suggest

I have been very fatiguedduring my monthly cycle this time around. I have lighter than usual flow that is mostly all Brown or black with bits of pink and yellow fleshy-looking chunks. This is very awkward to ask, but i feel important. I do have an iud but it has been in place for a year without issue as of yet. I do not have insurance or a normal physician.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possible causes for your altered menstrual flow are :
- Intrauterine device can sometimes present with altered menstrual flow.
-Decreased hemoglobin levels.
-Hormonal imbalance.
-Thyroid hormonal abnormalities.
So you observe the next cycle, if the same thing repeats in the next cycle better to consult gynecologist once.
Take care.
