Feel Dizzy, Hot, Over Weight, Started Running, Changed Diet

I am a 41 yo female. I am about 15 pounds over weight. I quit running due to an injury a few years ago and have started back in the last two weeks. I have also changed my diet in the last 48 hrs (portion control, salads and no soft drinks). I woke up this morning with several bouts of dizziness and feeling hot. This has been going on for about an hour. Any thoughts?

The most effective way to lose weight is to
• reduce the amount of calories you eat
• increase your levels of activity.

Try to follow this principle to achieve your target weight. You are feeling hot & bouts of dizziness because of drop in your blood sugar levels in morning. Dont change your diet drastically. Instead have 6 small meals per day. This will not decrease your blood sugar level. Also drink increase your water intake throughout day.
