Feeling Depressed, Exhausted, Runny Nose With Droopy Eyes. Need An Immediate Cure
Hi, I am currently off work with what I think is a cold. I am feeling exhausted, slightly depressed, my nose is constantly running, my left eye has been watery for 2 days constant, I have an upset stomach and my eye lids feel very heavy/droopy. What can I do to get better quickly? I'm a 38 year old female, non smoker, weight 64kg.
As you are a 38 year old female with symptoms of exhaustion, slight depression and drooping eye lids, I suggest you get your thyroid hormone levels checked to rule out hypothyroidism. You also seem to have associated flu like symptoms which could also cause the above symptoms. Cold subsides in seven to ten days; if you have fever and subsequent bacterial infection you may require a course of antibiotics. But if symptoms persist beyond two weeks and you are still exhausted, depressed and have eye symptoms, consult an endocrinologist to rule out Thyroid problems. Hope this helps!
