Feeling Nauseous In Stomach & Vomiting After Having An Appendix

I had my appendix out 4 days ago and spent a night in the hospital. I have been feeling like I am going to throw up every where anytime I get out of bed. I no longer barely have any pain from the incision sights. I just feel really nauseous and sick to my stomach all the time! When do I get worried and call the doctor. Thank you, Amanda

Hello,

The nausea you are experiencing after surgery is very likely to be due to a delayed reaction to anesthesia. Your incision wound looks to be healing nicely, if you don't have any pain or oozing.
You did not specify whether you have had any bowel movement since after the surgery. If not, then the build up could be another reason for the nausea and emptying the bowels should resolve the problem.

Frel better soon and all the best.
