Feeling Of Pressure In Middle Finger, Red And Bruised, Swollen. What Could Be This?

Hi, last night for no apparent reason I felt a slight pressure in my middle finger as if it was swollen for some reason. I then looked and the back of my finger was red and bruised looking. I thought I may have been bitten by something but couldnt see a puncture mark and didnt feel anything. I went to bed to see if it went away. no other symtomps were experienced. Today it is still there-no worse on the back of the finger but slowly moving around the front...any ideas

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
From description pain and swelling over your finger seems to be inflammatory in nature. Give rest to the part and avoid weight lifting. You can take antiinflammatory drug like ibuprofen to reduce pain and swelling. Get examined by your doctor to rule out any infective pathology.
Hope this will helps you. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards.
