Feeling Pain, Numb, Broken Hip, Screws Placed. Taking Oxycontin, Not Helping. Suggest Alternative Medicine?

I am taking OxyContin 5/325 and am still feeling pain it is numb but not gone . I had broken hip in march of 2013 repaired with geometric screw and femoral rod left side also in 2006 had tibia plateau fracture repaired with a metal bracket and seven screws with bone graft from ilia crest also on left leg . Is there another med I could take to achieve pain free living ?

Hi, Thanks for calling Health care magic forum.
You had 2 major fractures and surgeries. They should end with pain less recovery, but pain is there. It usually happens due to lack of absolute rest to the limb. The other reason may be the osteoporosis.
I prescribe to my patients with such symptoms neurotrophic injections for 10 consecutive days, and periodically, along with pain killers.
