Hi, I a feeling really unwell , I have lower back pain,I feel very sickly and lethargic. I had achilles surgery in November and gastrocnemius lengthening, and I am waiting to go back in for more surgery on my heel,as the surgery hs not been a complete success,. But the last few day this pain in my back has completely wiped me out , I am currently taking 1800mg of gabapentin and tramadol 100mg 3 x a day, my back had been fine upto 4 days ago and now this pain is unbelievable. What can I do to ease it?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The back pain that you are having is not likely to be related to the achilles surgery that you had. It is more likely to be a muscular pain due to bad posture.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
