Fell Backwards, Hit Head, Intense Headache, Pressure In Nose, Back Head. Could I Have A Concussion?

I fell backwards and hit my head pretty hard on concrete, and straight afterwards I started laughing and it took me a moment to realise that I had to get up and to remember how to do that. Also I had an intense headache , sort of pressure in the back of my head and also my nose . There s one spot that s really tender to touch, and there is still pressure in my nose. Could I have a concussion , and should I see a health care professional?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi ,
Yes you need to see family physician /Neurologist.You had a head injury , may be that tender spot is because of scalp contusion or hematoma. You have to observed for next 24 hours and neurological examination is needed. You require CT scan brain with bone window and treatment planned according to it.You require pain killers for few days and prophylactis antiepileptic drugs for next 1 month in view of abnormal behavoiur of laughing at that situation.
