Fell Down. Pain In Foot, Hurts While Walking. Should Go To Doctor?
Hi,
I recently jumped/fell higher than i should have when under the influence of alcohol. The heel of my foot and down the outside is in a constant nag/pain and when i stand/walk on it, it hurts to the point of having to change the way i walk. It now feels like I'm not completely stood on my foot flat. Should I got to the hospital or will it be a waste of time?

i hv studied your case
IS THERE any swelling ,redness near your ankle or foot
pain aggrivates on walking or only on movement
take rest , take some analgesic , hot or cold fomentation
avoid lifting weights
physiotherapy - SWD ,IFT WILL HELP
you may need x ray foot [after looking clinically]

Have an X-ray to exclude fracture.
Rest to the part (Splinting if necessary & avoiding weight bearing) is important
Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs like ibuprofen reduce pain & inflammation
Cold compress in first days / later warm compress - help / Physiotherapy helps
Better be reassured, even if it is waste of time and money - to avoid possibility of permanent disability in the future. Better be safe than sorry.
