Fell On My Hand, Wrist Pain. Pinched Nerve? How To Treat It?

I fell on my hand about a month and a half ago. and it still hasn t healed. The pain is right above my wrist in the palm area and only hurts when pressure is applied. I m assuming it s a pinched nerve but I m not sure how to treat it. Would you happen to know anything that could help with the healing and if it is a pinched nerve?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Persisting pain at the site of injury, even one month after injury indicates some significant problem.

An Xray is needed to rule out any fracture that might be causing you the symptoms.

There is no role for home remedies or self care measures in your case.

I suggest you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for a detailed evaluation and further management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
