Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Based on the description, you could have possibly suffered a Muscle pull or catch.

Treatment guidelines for a muscle strain or pull is as follows -
* Adequate rest for a few days till the involved muscle recuperates
* Ice packing over the affected area once in 2 hours
* Once the acute pain subsides, Moist heat application over the affected muscles
* Gradual & gentle stretching exercises
* analgesic & muscle relaxants as needed

Hope this information is helpful. Good day

Hello

Thanks for writing to Healthcare magic,

I have studied your case,
According to your history it seems that probably its muscle sprain only due to sudden jerk and stretch.
You can take muscle relaxant and analgesic to solve this problem.
In case of fracture there will be swelling and difficuilty in walking too.
If needed you can do Xray .

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Hi and welcome to HCM
From description , it seems you might developed muscular or ligamentous strain over pelvic region.
I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. You may get the MRI of the area affected under his/her guidance.
Meanwhile following measures will help with the pain
• Anti -inflammatory drugs like Tablet Motrin 1 tablet as and when required
• Avoid forward bending.
• Avoid strenuous activity & lifting heavy weights.
• Apply diclofenac gel on the affected area. Warm compresses will also help.
Hope this will helps you. Take care.
