Fever And Rash On Back Neck And Forehead,had Chickenpox Vaccination Before
my 4 year old had achickenpox vaccine when she was 2 years old, 3 DAYS AGO she had a fever and still having fever. today,pimply rashes came out to her front body ,few on her back neck and forehead, i just notice a while ago,, what is this?can you please tell if there is still possibility for my child to acquire chickenpox?
The symtoms you have given could not be of sunburn, which is very uncommon at this age. It could be chickenpox or some other viral exanthem. Consult a dermatologist immediately.
Chickenpox should be treated by starting oral aciclovir as soon as possible. The early intake of acicvlovir reduces the duration and severity of symptoms and also prevents permanent scarring
