Fingertip Severely Cut. Applied Neosporin, Butterfly Stitches. Wound Heeling With Some Deformity. Normal?

I have had an accident which severely cut my finger tip through the nial twice in the shape of a slice of pizza, it has been two weeks and for treatment I was applying Neosporin and butterfly stitches while wrapping it up with gauze, there was some pulp protruding from the wound originally, and I am not sure if it remained exposed after the butterfly stitches were applied, the wounds have scabbed over and appear to beginning to heal with some deformity to the tip, however, I am having numbness and some odd sensation in the tip of the finger, the best I can describe it is that it feels like when you accidentally get superglue on your fingers and it hardens, I am not sure what I should do from here or if it is normal.

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The outcome has.been because of healing of tip of wound with lot of fibrosis and the terminal nerve fibres getting entrapped in the scar tissue. Application of coconut oil and aloe Vera based ointment will help.
There will definitely be improvement when the scar undergoes remodeling, the final scar may be quite small and insignificant from the present state.

I hope it helped
