Flank Pain And Protein And Blood In Urine. Was On Penicillin For A Tooth Infection. No Bacteria In Urinalysis. What Is Wrong?

Was on penicillin for a tooth infection a year ago and have had flank pain with trace amounts of blood and protein in urine ever since. Urinalysis never shows bacteria but the flank pain does go away with doxycycline but comes back a few days after it is stopped. Also certain foods make the pain worse ex. dairy, spicy food, pineapple...

Hi
Please get an Ultrasound abdomen and get excluded of Kidney stone/Ureteric stone,Urinary tract infection or any pathology in the Urinary tract.
Along with Antibiotic,please take Smooth muscle relaxant like Dicyclomine.
If you come back with Ultrasound report,i will clarify further.
