For Severe Heartburn How To Convince The Doctor To Run Additional Tests?
Im 39. I have the worst heartburn possible. I've taken acid reducers that makes the pain even worse..so I went to dr. He knew what I was there for so I didn't have to do the repeatt of everything. He said nothing so how should I approach him.without. stepping on his toes so to speak.mind you this heartburn I had since I was 12? Sometimes it gets so bad my vocal chords are hurt where I can't talk. Any ideas or possible SOLUTIONS?

Dear you should get your H. Pylori Stool antigen done and also H. Pylori serum antibodies. Morever there are a range of investigations. Tell your doctor you have used every medication for this problem and its not getting any better. Your physician will certainly order more investigations
