Forehead Trauma, Bleeding, Lump Formation, Tiredness, Headaches, Numbness On Face. Treatment?

Hello. A week ago my husband had some trauma to his forehead and endured a lot of bleeding from it. The hospital just put a band aid on it and a few days after he started getting a big lump on his forehead and was very tired and had headaches . Now the headaches have decreased he is now experiencing swollenness at the bridge of his nose and one of his eyes and says that in some spots of his face it feels numb. Is this normal swelling due to the trauma or is this something more?

Hi thanks for your question.
Since trauma is 1 week ol there is nothing to worry. The lump he has developed is most probably heamatoma(collection of blood under skin) due to bleeding under the band aid.The swelling on bridge of nose and on one eye is due to pressure of haematoma.I would suggest you to consult a general surgeon, who may be able to examine him and may advice investigations like X Ray skull and may prescribe him antibiotics and analgesics anti inflammatory drugs.
Hope this answers your question.
