Found Red Chunks In Vomit. Hadn T Had Any Red Coloured Food. What Could It Be?
Hello. I have EDNOS with anorexic/bulimic tendencies. for my past two binges I have found red chunks in my vomit. I picked them up, and they were tough. They looked like stewed tomatoes and did not have the consistency of partially digested food. This was the majority of my vomit. I hadn t had any food that was mostly colored red. What is this?
hello, I belive tha red color in your vomit might be blood. As a recovered bulimic, the only advice I can give you is to seek not only medical attention, but psych attention. It is nothing to be ashamed of (seeking professional help) and may be the only thing that will save your life. Blood in your vomit could be from a GI bleed, an ulcer, or an esophageal ulceration that has the potential to rupture. Your life is worth so much more than this. Please see a doctor and be honest with them. It will be a huge relief to get this off your chest and out in the open. kind regards
