Frequent Urination, Burning Sensation, Pain On Urinating, Foul Smell. Cure?
Hello i have a question about six months now i m having pain when peeing, it hurts more when i dont drink alot that day, and when i pee in the morning, if i drink enough it doesnt hurt when peeing, also i cant hold up my pee like how i could.. my pee also stinks when i dont drink enough or when i pee a little bit sometimes i think that it s over but when i dont drink enough it comes back.. What could this be?
Hi
This could be a long standing urinary tract infection. But what is surprising is that it has lasted this long which would make me want to order an ultrasound of the kidney-ureter-bladder region. What we need here is a urine routine and microscopy followed by a urine culture,
meanwhile, drink 3-4 litres of water and 1 cup of cranberry juice daily till you go see your general physician.
But we would be looking at a course of antibiotics to take care of this problem on a long term basis.
hope that helps
