G6PD Deficient, Low Sodium,infected. History Of Seizures. Prescribed Gardenal Syrup. Anything To Worry?

Hello doctor,
My baby girl is 3 months old now,when she was 20 days old she started stopping her breath for few secs frequently later she had seizures for which she was admitted ,doctors diagnosed that she was G6PD deficient, ,sodium was low and she had infection,she was on ventilators for 1 week after 15 days she was discharged, doctor prescribed her Gardenal syrup twice a day, she is fine now and her growth is well, after discharge she did not had seizures, my concern is in future these seizures can occur and these medications given to her can effect her growth?

Hi
Recurrence of seizures will depend upon on the original cause of convulsion. Usually it does not recur if the initial insult was transient like low calcium,sodium tc.
