Gaining Weight After Quitting Smoking, Diarrhea, Head Feels Puffy, Feeling Tired.Cure For Symptoms?

I gave up smoking in December 3rd after my mother died, I'm 37 yrs old and work in the building industry, I have gained weight as a result of not smoking from 13st to around 15st 5lb. I've recently had diahrea for around 9 days but my sample came back as no further action. I feel tired all the time and my head seems puffy, I know my own body and I just don't feel my self.

Dear user ,

thank you for reaching out for an advice, first am sorry for your loss. Quitting smoking is a very wise decision you made, its not easy and it could cause a wide range of symptoms like headache , weight gain among others . you can try nicotine gum to help you with the symptoms , try to add some working out and exercise to your daily routine , eat healthy and take some multi vitamins . if you still feel tired and not the same you can visit your GP and ask him to check you hormonal levels from thyroid and testosterone in specific.

if you find this answer helpful please rate it .
Best regards,
Dr. Ahmad
