Gamca Medical Test - Unfit Due To Scars On Lungs. Any Medication Available?
hello doctor, hope u r doing well. actually i have query related to gamca medical test , one of my friend has offer from saudi and as a mandatory rule he had been through gamca medical test but they made him unfit saying he has a problem in his X-ray (scars on lungs) but he has no past history related to TB or chest , is there any medicine available to wipe out that scars etc,, please help to find solutions. regards

Thank you for getting in touch with us. From what I make out, your friend has found out by chance that there is a scar in his lungs. I would like to tell you that TB is not the only cause of scarring of the lungs. This needs a thorough and detailed examination. I would recommend your friend to get in touch with a Doctor immediately and seek consultation. If he has any old Chest X-Ray with him, that can prove to be beneficial as the Doctor can compare both X-Ray's and see if the scarring appeared lately or has been present for sometime. will u kindly post the chest x-ray images on HCM then it ll be easier for me to make comment on that
scar or spot on chest x-ray may occur due to previous diseases in chest
may be a previous tuberculosis, may be a healed lung lesion from sarcoidosis, may be from a lung tumor either a malignant or benign or previous non-resolving or partially treated pneumonia
