Gas Tripped In Stomach Area, Constipation, Pressure From Stomach To Chest. Taken Miralex, Aspirin. Advise?

hi Doctor, Last night I had episodes of a lot of gas tripped in my stomach area. I was also constipated as well. every time I would lay down to sleep I would get this pressure coming from my stomach into my chest. I felt like I was sufficating and could not get any air. I would panic alittle and open the doors for more air. my stomach felt bloated and gassy by I could not untrap it. I took some Miralax and aspirin. I,ve had this a handful of times. What can I do I fit happens again. I am 60 yrs old and live alone. Please advise. Appreciate It, Nancy

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Tension & stress are the two main reason of your problems.
Constipation and pain in stomach are not a big problem as already you are getting stool softener ( miralex i.e.polyethylein glycole ).
Aspirin aggravates stomach pain ,so please don't use this for pain abdomen (stomach pain). Aspirin also causes bloating and gas formation.
As you mentioned that you are feeling suffocation , this is due to tension.
Consult a psychiatrist and get his opinion and treatment.
