Getting All Teeth Pulled Out And Denture Put In. Recommendation For Painkillers Without Side Effects?

Hello In 1 week I am getting all my teeth pulled and dentures put in the same day. My problem is I am not one to take much at all for pain., so I am unfamiliar with what will stop the pain the Dentist I am going to gives his other patients Lortab 7.5 I have been prescribed that one before but it makes me so sick to my stomach and after being on it for a couple days it makes me real jittery and my heart race. Can you give me an Idea on what I could take. Thanks

Hi
Welcome to HCM,
After going through your details, tooth extraction needs some analgesic and anti inflammatory drugs, along with antibiotics coverage.
The side effects you feel are most likely due to hydrocodone component.

If you do not have severe pain in teeth then commonly Ibuprofen and paracetamol combination is equally effective if stomach upset is there one can use a Proton pump inhibitor like pantoprazole to have better tolerance.

Even alone Paracetamol can be used depends up on pain and inflammation you have, so discuss with your Dentist and take appropriate medicines.
Hope this is useful to you to take proper decision,in consultation of your Dentist.

Take care.
Good Luck.
