Getting Dizzy Frequently With Serious Muscle, Join And Head Aches. What To Do?
Doctor, I have been feeling very tired over the past month. I have also been getting dizzy frequently with serious muscle, join and head aches. Some blood work was done on me and came back fine. The symptoms did not go away and this morning I woke up with a swollen lymph node underneath my chin/jaw. Please help. Maggie
Hi Maggie ! Good eveining. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
From your symptoms it seems to me that you have got some kind of rheumatological problem. Specially with a swelling below your chin, I as a doctor would advise you to go for a FNAC (fine needle aspitation cytology) of the swelling to know its nature and proper management and if there is negative FNAC, I would go for an excisional biopsy. Further management would depend on the biopsy report and other blood tests for rheumatological pathologies.
I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts. Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
