Getting Sharp Pain In Knee While Standing Or Walking. Any Ideas?
For the last week, I have had a sharp pain behind my knee (above the calf and below the hamstring ). The pain comes on very suddenly (like an electric shock ) and then subsides after 30 to 60 seconds. Timing of the pain is completely random, sometimes during the day, sometimes at night, sometimes while standing, sometimes while walking. Any ideas?
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The sudden pain that you are having is likely to be due to a nerve related cause or a tendonitis. It needs a proper physical examination to find out the cause. You can start taking methylcobalamin supplements and see if it helps.
