Gone Through Right Knee ACL Reconstruction Surgery, Very Thin. Can I Take Any Protein Powder Supplements ?

Hi, I am 27 Years, Height 5.6 Feet, Weight 58 Kg. Before 2 months back I have gone through my right knee ACL reconstruction surgery. I am looking very thin. Every one is saying do some body building, go to gym. I have started doing workout at home. My friends suggested that to increase muscle size I need to take Whey Protein supplements. Please suggest me should I take protein powder supplements. If yes then how much amount of protein, carbohydrates etc should be there in that supplement. I have found one link below which is showing a whey protein WWW.WWWW.WW Its contains are as follows. Is it ok for me ? Serving Size Amount per Serving Energy 280 kcl Protein 65 g Carbohydrates 5 g Fat 0.0g Vitamin A 120 mcg Vitamin C 20 mg Calcium 75 mg Iron 5 mg VITAMIN E 12 mg Vitamin B1 250 mcg Vitamin B2 335 mcg Vitamin B6 500 mcg Folic Acid 20 mcg Vitamin B12 0.25 mcg Phosphouous 35 mg Zinc 1 mg Selenium 40 mcg Chromium 80 mcg Thanks.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I red your history and I think it is not bad taking protein supplements but I would advise you to concentrate on natural way of protein supplements like high protein diet that will be much helpful to you, you need to take care while taking on counter available product that may some time induce the diarrhea, have nice day.
I find this answer helpful
