Got Hit On Foot. Swelling And Bruise Appeared. Hurts To Touch. Any Chances Of Fracture?
Hi, I banged my foot yesterday, straight away it swelled and bruising appeared. And it hurts very much when I tryed to touch it its too unbearable I woke up and the bruising is black. It was also painfull during the night when I had to get up for 5 minutes. I can stand on it but the pain keeps coming and going and it s painfull do u think its badly bruised or could it be broken

It might be soft tissue injury or fracture.
Without X-ray, it is difficult to differentiate a fracture from others. I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance.
In the interim,apply ice packs to the affected area,anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid putting weight and rest well.

Hi,
It hurts may be a result of any ligament rupture, Muscular injury or any bony invlovement
First have an xray to rule out the fracture If there is no Fracture in that than have Tab. Ibuprofen 400 mg thrice a day for 07 days.
If the pain didnot disappear than have MRI for further diagnosis and management but I hope It will respond to Tab. Ibuprofen.
