Got Hit On Head. No Headache. Pain On The Spot. Should I Be Concerned?

hit the top front part of my head yesterday at work pretty hard. I was ducking through a door and stood up too soon and whacked my head on a metal heater. No headache, the only pain i have is when i touch the spot i hit. the goose-egg that was there has gone down since then, but i'm still worried about it...I'm a bit of a hypochondriac....any advice?

hello there,

as you told about the injury you had on your head , and by now the swelling had also subside. so now only pain is there at the site of impact. use cold compression and avoid touching it. if the pain is still there you can use some pain killers. the pain will wane off in few days. nothing to worry. its completely normal.
thank you
take care
