Got In An Accident. Chest X-ray Shows No Problem. Injured Foot Has Recovered But Chest Is Still Hurting. Hurts To Pick, Sit. Suggestions?
I got in a car wreck on Sunday and they x-rayed my chest and they said noting was wrong with my chest, but it's been a few days and my broken foot I got from the crash feel a whole lot better than my chest, could it just be from the seatbelt or should I go back to the doctor? It hurts to pick anything up or to sit up or roll over.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Lohit K's Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Post accident since you had injury in chest and no fracture, there may be soft tissue damage and spasms that is hurting you. So take warm compression, analgesic(NSAID) with muscle relaxant like chlorzoxazone with limited movements for some time. Take rest. This may help you. Consult your doctor for further examination and management. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards Dr. Lohit
