Got Shot Of Nur Isterate, Not Had Periods, Due For Another Injection. Is This Normal ?
hello i got my injection shot of nur isterate on the 31st July and i am due for my next injection on thhe 25 september. my question is i havent had a period whilst being on the injection, is this normal? i am very paranoid about pregnancy and would like help. i havent had break through bleeding or spotting but i do get period like paiin cramps . is all this normal

Hi,
It is common for short periods of amenorrhoea (absence of periods) to occur while on the injection. The next injection is given only if bleeding occurs in the preceding 10 weeks, or else, pregnancy is ruled out after stopping the injection. Since you are due for the next injection, I suggest that you consult your gynecologist for exclusion of pregnancy before continuing with the course. Good luck.
