Grease Ball On Left Wrist And It Is Painful

I am a 60 year old man with what my doctor has said is a greaseball on my left outside wrist.I have had this before and it grows out like a bone . It disapeared and has come back. It s only painful if you hit it or. use your wrist quiet a bit. What can be done about it Thank You Juan

I have not heard of any swelling called Grease ball. Probably he is referring to Lipoma or a benign collection of fat. Unless it disturbs you in daily activities or is unsightly, no need to to anything about it. Lipoma tends to recur sometimes. You could be having similar swellings in other parts of your body. The only solution is Surgery.
