Green Colour Discharge From Vagina, Labia Minora Swollen, Itchy. Yeast Infection?

Hi. I ve had green, cottage cheese-like discharge for a couple months now. I am awaiting pap results from a doctor I saw. Now, my left libia minora on my vagina , is puffy, big, swollen, and inflamed. Its very itchy, and beginning to hurt. It burns a little to urinate too. Please tell me what this may be. A yiest infection? Or something else. Just concerned how serious I need to be. Thanks.

Hello,

sound like you have a mixed infection - with candida (cottage cheese discharge) and bacteria ( greeny discharge) - you can go get over the counter vaginal suppositories and cremes to trate straight away.

Keep the area nice and clean - best thing is to carry a soda bottle around with you - with some camomile tea (yes!) in it - every time you use the bathroom - whilst urinating pour some camomile tea ( can be cold not hot please) over the outside affected area - this way the urine won`t sting so much.

If it doesn`t get bertter within 3 days - go see a gynaecologist or your GP.
Kind regards,
JR
